Alan Cockle

With the whakaaro of “Purpose ensures focus” being at the forefront of all he does, Alan of Waikato, Maniapoto, Tuwharetoa, Raukawa, Whanganui, Te Ati Awa, and Kahungunu ancestry was mentored by his elders in the tribal protocol, histories, and te reo from an early age.  Alan has worked in both public and private sectors guiding leadership skills at both the coal face and management levels.  Alan is also an experienced facilitator and Chair.  This experience has been acquired through many professional associations which cover Whānau, Marae, Hapū and Iwi to Land, Property Administration, and Governance.  Alan is a Justice of the Peace for New Zealand.
